A prerequisite of working with us is that you must have attended our teacher training course, because only by doing this will you fully understand what our unique training methods consist of. If you haven’t participated yet, please ensure you book on and complete the course before applying to teach with us.
Requirements
If you’re interested in working with us, we expect a few things from you:
- Passion: Our tutors are renowned for their incredible passion, so we want you to love what you do and be enthusiastic about getting the most from your students.
- Respect: We work on a mutual respect basis, so we expect our tutors to treat our students as equals throughout the course process.
- Dedication: Our students expect to learn more in a couple of weeks with us than they could in a year of once-a-week evening study, so your dedication to their learning is going to be crucial.
- Knowledge: Of course, you must be a fluent English speaker and writer, with exemplary understanding of the ‘whys’ of English grammar as well as the ‘hows’.
- Qualification: We do accept those who have qualified under TEFL or similar, but we would like you to also take part in our English teacher training course. We have a unique style of teaching at our school and believe you can only work for us effectively if you’ve undertaken our training yourself.
